TWILIGHT MANIA

” Well, what can I say? The long awaited wait is over. The movie finally came out. So what’s the verdict? The book was no doubt sensational man! I mean, after just reading the first chapter, I was instantly hooked. I fell in love with the story (with Edward :-) ).Come on, dude! I read all four books in a span of four days straight. Mark totally lost his mind! He wasn’t able to converse with me during those four days! haha. Ask him! :-)I haven’t read anything like it for ages. Actually, I haven’t pick up a new book since. I can’t still get over with Twilight Saga :-) The movie? I’ve seen it at Promenade and I think the movie was mediocre. It was not bad compared to the book. Come on! Reality is that they can’t really put everything from the book into the big screen. It wasn’t as detailed as the book of course. “Cause if they did, that would mean five long and grueling hours at the cinemas and that would be impossible to market, right? What I liked was that they put in the most memorable lines from the book into the film.  And man! I was distracted the whole time by Edward! (Rob Pattinson). He’s gorgeous! Seriously, I like him being Edward. I still keep on dreaming about him for about 4-5 nights in a row! haha. Anyway, Bella (Kristen Stewart) played the part really well. She did justice on the role.  Overall verdict? The movie was good. I love it! :-) What I can advise you guys is to read the book first before watching the movie. “cause you won’t be able to appreciate the story  if you don’t read the book. You will end up stereotyping the book and that would be unfair to Stephenie Meyer’s creative and brilliant mind. Read it first. Enjoy :-)

YEARNING

September 17th, 2008 by ivenechristerapo

“I was pretty much caught in surprise. Surprised that I feel slightly taken aback by the overwhelmingly yearning I’m feeling right now. I thought seven days would pass up so fast that I wouldn’t be able to take notice of it. But I was damn wrong. So wrong. This is the longest seven days of my life. You may think that I’m just exaggerating whatsoever. I mean, hell yeah, Singapore is just three hours away from Manila but the thing is, I’ve never been separated away from him for this long since we became an item. Roaming is another thing. It certainly works in my advantage, but hey, communication is suppose to be two-way right? It’s not economical and definitely not practical on his part. See the problem? He’s hundreds of miles away and we’re not able to communicate as often as we like and it’s fuc*ing driving me nuts. I have no idea on how to pass up my time. Well, maybe I can put my few thousand bucks into good use this time instead. I think I deserve to go on a vacay, don’t you think? Time to vist the Merlion and stroll around Sentosa :-)” *wink*
